Car Line Procedures
Keep Christ in Car Line and Embrace the Zipper Merge!
MORNING CAR LINE
Our morning car line will begin at 7:30 AM. Parking lot speed limit is 10 MPH. Please review the diagram and important reminders below:
- All cars should enter middle gate and snake LEFT through the parking lot following path depicted in image above.
- All K-8 students* will be dropped off at the Elementary entrance.
- Staff will be waiting by drop off cones to welcome students, to direct traffic, and to help students head into school.
- Once students are unloaded, staff will then dismiss cars to move forward to our officer-assisted right turn on to Spring Stuebner.
*PreK families will park and walk their children to the PreK building. Those PreK families with older children may also walk the older siblings to the central entrances between the Elementary and Junior High buildings where a staff member will direct them to their entrance door.
AFTERNOON CAR LINE
The West Gate will open at 2:45 PM to begin line up for dismissal.*
- Form 4 waiting lanes behind the rope at the rectory driveway.
- All drivers must have yellow car tag or know the PikMyKid number.
- When the rope is taken down at 3:15 PM, cars will zipper merge into 2 lanes and move to the end of the playground drive.
- -At about 3:20 PM, staff will direct cars to the six pick-up cones.
- Please be patient as we progress forward to the pick-up cones, alternating six vehicles at a time from the outer and inner lanes.
- Staff will dismiss loaded cars to move forward to the designated left and right turn exits (see below).
*Note: ONLY the two “first in car line” winners from the Spring auction may enter car line early. All others must enter the West Gate and wait for staff direction.
